Cosmetic Bag Printing: Screen, Heat Transfer, Emboss — and How to Keep Colour Honest in Bulk

Logo printing is where most sampling surprises happen — the colour looks perfect on one sample and drifts on the next batch. This guide explains the printing processes we use on cosmetic bags, how colour is controlled, and how to brief a factory so your first bulk run matches the approved sample.

Which process fits your bag

There is no “best” printing process, only the right one for your surface, artwork and volume. Describe the logo area and we will match the process to it.

• Screen printing: crisp and durable on flat PVC, TPU or canvas; ideal for 1–4 spot colours
• Heat transfer: full-colour gradients and fine text on zipped pouches; sealed under film for durability
• Offset/gravure for large flat areas at high volume; emboss/deboss for an elegant tonal logo on matte or leather-look surfaces

Colour: physical standards, not screen guesses

Every colour is matched against a physical standard — a Pantone chip, your approved sample, or a lab-dip made from your artwork. We make a print test before bulk, you approve it, and that approved plate stays the benchmark for the whole run.

• Send Pantone numbers or a physical chip whenever possible
• One approved printed sample is worth ten e-mailed colour hexes
• We tell you in advance if a colour cannot hold across your chosen material

Why print size belongs in the RFQ

Printing cost depends on area, number of colours and surface. If your logo is small, saying so in the RFQ avoids paying for plate area you do not need — and prevents over-inking on curves or near zips.

• Give print size in millimetres, not “small”
• State colours clearly: 1–2 spot colours or full-colour artwork
• Tell us if the logo must survive rubbing, water or long outdoor exposure
