The Story of NICE Bags: 25 Years of Making Bags We Are Proud to Sign

One rule from day one

In 2001 we opened a small workshop in Yiwu under the name Zongyu Bags. We had a few sewing stations and one rule: never send out a bag we would not be proud to sign. Twenty-five years later, the workshop has grown — the rule has not changed.

Why “NICE” is our standard, not a slogan

We grew out of that workshop and built a 3,000 m² factory in Luoyang, where 300 craftspeople work today. We renamed the company NICE Bags — not as a boast, but as a daily standard. NICE means the bag we would put our own name on. If it is not beautiful enough for us, it is not beautiful enough for your customers.

Inside our factory: the checks behind every bag

Beautiful is not a feeling — in a factory it is a list of checks we refuse to skip. Every roll of fabric is inspected for colour, hand-feel and strength before cutting. Hardware is tested the way you would test it in your hand. A crooked stitch is unpicked and sewn again — we redo, we never cover up. Every bag passes in-line checks and a final AQL inspection before it is packed.
